Sabine is a Professor of Health Informatics in the Division of Informatics, Imaging, and Data Sciences with over 20 years’ experience of digital health research.

Although she is interested in a wide range of digital health technologies, her own research focuses on developing, evaluating and implementing technologies to collect and use patient-generated health data to improve care, equity, and outcomes for people living with long-term conditions. 

Sabine’s projects often employ mixed methods, cross academic disciplines, and happen in collaboration with healthcare professionals, policy makers, community organisations, and patients (often from underserved groups).
