Exploring Blockchain in the Cultural Sector

Exploring Blockchain in the Cultural Sector is an online conference hosted by the University of Manchester which will examine the possibilities of using this technology across the cultural and creative sectors.

Topics include:

•    Exploring alternative economies and forms of governance
•    Tokens and tokenisation in the context of the arts
•    Examining the notion of authenticity and provenance
•    The potential use cases of the technology in relation to the creative and art industries.

This conference will be held online using Zoom with a series of panels and a keynote. Attendees are invited to join as many or as few sessions as they would like. Full programme can be found here
