Partnerships, Knowledge Exchange & Impact
Online information sessions:

A series of sessions exploring the value and impacts from academic collaborations with partner organisations by focusing on case studies of successful partnerships from across the Humanities disciplines. Each event is led by a different Humanities School, but all are open and designed to be relevant to attendees from any discipline in terms of exploring partnerships.
SoSS-led event - Find out how the Law & Technology Initiative was set up to facilitate collaboration in research and teaching between the university and practitioners. March 25th 12:30 - 13:30 (plus 30 minute informal “clinic”), via zoom.
Colleagues from the Business Engagement & Knowledge Exchange (BEKE) team will present an overview of the various mechanisms for industry-academic collaboration that they support. This event will outline how the Law & technology Initiative consortium model was established, Dr John Haskell will describe how it is impacting teaching and research activity, and representatives of the founding partner DWF LLP will talk about how and why the company is building a strategic relationship with the university. Read here how this platform of activity has enabled delivery of an international collaborative workshop and its impact on teaching on the Law degree pathways.
