The Alliance Hubert Curien programme is a joint initiative between the governments of France and the UK. It aims to encourage reciprocal mobility between early career researchers, leading to closer collaboration on research and innovation while strengthening connections that will lead to greater collaboration in the future.
Research groups in the UK and France can each apply for funding for travel and subsistence costs which will enable reciprocal mobility over a two-year period. Six major scientific areas are open for proposals:
- Chemical and Physical Sciences,
- Information and Communication Sciences,
- Biological & Medical Sciences,
- Environmental Sciences,
- Social Sciences & Humanities.
Selected projects will have to acknowledge funding by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
The call for applications is open until Monday 4 May 2020 at 23.59. Candidates will be informed of the outcome of their application in the Autumn of 2020.
