POST Parliamentary Academic Fellowships

There are opportunities for academic researchers at any stage of their career to conduct research within Parliament, either examining Parliament itself or producing research to be used by Parliamentarians.

Academics can work on a specific research project issued by an office in Parliament, or propose a project of their choosing.

This scheme reopened at the beginning of December 2019, with a directed call for academics to work on projects proposed by UK Parliament. For more information, and to apply, please see the webpage: Parliamentary Academic Fellowship Scheme - Directed Call.

A report on the previous 2016-2019 scheme can be found here: 'Parliamentary academic fellowship scheme pilot: a review of the scheme, its impacts, and recommendations for future schemes'. It includes a review of the scheme, details of projects conducted and their impacts, and five case studies.
