SPRITE+ Workshop

SPRITE+ Challenge Working Groups (CWGs) and Project Partners gathered virtually on 11 May 2020. The CWG Leadership and representatives from our Project Partners identified many areas of common interest where they could work together to explore the Challenge Themes. They also discussed potential themes for the upcoming SPRITE+ Research Sandpit, which will be held in July 2020.

Around 50 topics were identified, covering the challenges of authentication, responsible innovation, ensuring trust and security in complex connected systems, and user-centric security tools and procedures. However, one theme that was particularly prominent was the way in which issues of trust, identity, privacy and security will evolve in a post-Covid era, and this is the topic we have selected for our first funding sandpit.

For further details of how to join the sandpit, see our pre-call announcement.
