Yardsticks & Dreamscapes: Beyond Measurements in Arts, Health & Social Change across Greater Manchester
Time: 17.30 - 19.30
Venue: Manchester School of Art, Benzie Building, Room BZ403, M15 6BG
Sorry, this event has now ended.
Did you know that some scientists estimate that the Earth weighs about 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pounds (or 5,974,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms). But just how heavy is the population of Greater Manchester - and perhaps more importantly - how heavy do we feel, and why?
Facilitated by Clare Devaney and Clive Parkinson with guest contributions from our wider communities of interest, we are beginning a collective exploration of the current and future landscapes of culture, health and wellbeing practice across the city region. It will be a heady mix of research, practice and so much more!
This is an evening to explore our place and contribution to the arts, health and social change ecology of Greater Manchester and beginning with the journey from your work, your home or the places you sleep - everyone taking part in this event will be asked to capture elements of time, space and place in the spirit of shared collaborative adventure - on paper, on phones, in sound, in image, in words and in spirit.
Further information will be available here.
