Smartphone apps and digital technologies for people with long-term conditions
Time: 12:00 - 13:00
Sorry, this event has now ended.
Smartphone apps and digital technologies have the potential to improve health for people with a wide range of long-term conditions. The mHealth team at the Health eResearch Centre have developed several such platforms:
- ClinTouch – A smartphone app platform for longitudinal data collection. So far this has been applied to severe mental illness and rheumatoid arthritis but has the potential to be used across many other health domains
- CFHealthHub – A digital platform for improving adherence to treatment in people with cystic fibrosis
- Actissist – A smartphone app that delivers a CBT informed intervention for people with severe mental illness
As well as explaining more about these platforms, and the research and evidence-base behind them, Matt will also talk about planned future developments in this area.
This seminar is free and no booking is required.
