International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED19) is an awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering, and focus attention on the amazing career opportunities available to girls in this exciting industry.

The theme for 2019 is #TransformTheFuture, and to celebrate an event is being hosted at the MSP Tech Incubator on 4th July to bring some fascinating insights from unique women in the tech industry, including a keynote talk from Hadley Beeman, Chief Technology Adviser to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

Hadley will be joined by women from varied Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) roles.

2. Professionalisation – Reflections on the challenges associated with professionalisation, and the value of publicly-recognised accreditation

3. Make a Difference – Harnessing your passion and curiosity to make a difference. Providing an exclusive perspective on high-impact unique opportunities, in addition to the personal recognition and flexibility available within a technically-focused career.
