ICRES 2019

Venue: London Southbank University

As robots become part of our everyday lives, involving increasingly closer interactions between robots and people, it is vital that we swiftly build up the body of knowledge we need to create good standards for safe and ethical future human-robot interactions (HRI). Psychology and Human Factors methods offer the scientific approach we need to develop this important information.

At this year’s International Conference on Robot Ethics and Standards, ICRES 2019, the workshop ‘Psychology and Human Factors in Robot Ethics: What we know now and what we need to know for the future’ will showcase how applications of Psychology / Human Factors inform our understanding of safety, ethical, legal, and societal issues relevant to Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
