IAAC Cyber Resilience Workshop
Time: 11:00 - 15:00
Venue: Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham, Swindon, SN6 8LA
The first of IAAC’s new research programme workshops on Cyber Resilience will be hosted by Cranfield University at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom.
The workshop will explore international aspects of cyber resilience, and their relationship to national and regional resilience. This particular workshop forms part of the international cyber policy programme for the FCO/Chevening fellows from the western Balkans and India. We will be joined by 13 senior individuals from those countries, giving us a unique opportunity to explore cyber resilience challenges from diverse perspectives. This should offer insight into resilience issues in international supply chains, and the development of policy and consensus in this context.
IAAC has put an experienced team together with a mix of cyber, resilience, policy and legal expertise, who will facilitate the workshop. The event will be formed of panels, discussion and breakout activity. More details will follow based on a preliminary workshop being held by IAAC for facilitators in February.
This is the first workshop of several that will be run around the country, each taking a specific theme identified as part of a systematic approach to researching cyber resilience. The workshop after the Defence Academy is likely to be in Manchester examining forms of compliance in cyber resilience.
Coffee/tea from 10:15, with the workshop starting at 11:00 and concluding at 15:00 with breaks for coffee/tea and lunch.
