Healthy Ageing Innovating with Industry
Time: 14.00 - 15.30
Sorry, this event has now ended.
Would you like to learn more about how academics can collaborate with industry and how to get external funding this way?
Hosted by the Faculty of Humanities in collaboration with FBMH and MICRA, we bring you an afternoon session to hear about the opportunities to collaborate with industry, learn best practice and have the chance to ask your own questions to our panel of academics, industry and professional services.
This session will focus on healthy ageing innovation opportunities with the chance to hear from Dr Emma Stanmore, Senior Lecturer and Business Engagement Lead at the Division of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work, plus her industry collaborators, Reason Digital. They are currently focusing on their app Keep On Keep Up, which helps to prevent falls at home, with the aim of deploying the app at scale. Ed Cox, irector of Reason Digital, Tarani Chandola, Deputy Director of MICRA, Javier Garcia Humanities Associate Dean of Business Engagement and Jo Summers from the Knowledge Exchange Team will join this discussion.
