This page will be updated with a link to the event on the 23rd.

This event is part of the VR@Manchester Innovation Communities series.

In this session, Dr Jessica Symons, Director of Visioning Lab, will put the past 150 years of written and screen-based communication into its 2D context to argue that the emergence of 3D worlds is returning humans to traditional forms of engagement and interaction. She will also consider how the convergence of sectors into immersive / AR /  VR compares with the early days of the internet.  Participants will be invited to a preview of the new online performance space, Solstice, to be launched at the October Chorlton Arts Festival and to consider this argument through the real-life experience of a newly conceived 3D world.
